Scorpion Solitaire: from controls to your first round
Choose a round of Scorpion Solitaire and settle into its rules. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.
Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.
Try a more deliberate round
Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Keep the objective visible.
Aim for this result
Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Review the board or playing area as it changes.
How a round unfolds
- Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Input guidance
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. A new-round button replaces the current round.
See how the rules apply
The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Consider the next action carefully.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
